Innovative Pyrolysis Technologies for Thermochemical Processing of Municipal Solid Waste into Produs for 82% (50 Mt) and litter for 18% (12 Mt), waste treated is only 28% (14 Mt), and the rest, 72% (36 Mt) is openly dumped in the urban areas. It was predicted, that if the current waste generation rate increases, by 2030, the total MSW generation from urban areas will reach up to 165 million, 230 million by 2041, and 436 million by 2050.
