Sergeyevnderstanding of stories written in some natural language (here Chinese), until the generation of the cartoons, the whole process should be done automatically by the computer (Of course, user intervention is available, see below). A cartoon produced by SWAN, called “the three brothers”, has been shown on CCTV (Chinese Central Television Station).

Understanding the Limited Chinese Natural Language,. The number of languages which have been studied systematically by linguists is estimated to 500. Among them, only 13 languages are spoken by more than sixty million people. The Chinese language occupies the first place. About 36 percents of people in the world use Chinese Characters in their languages.

Plot Planning and Act Planning, first thing the script adapter has to do is to grasp the main idea of the story as the basis of the film to be produced. In chapter four, and especially in chapter five, we have shown how SWAN tries to perform this task as good as it can.
