R. D. H. Murray,W. Herz,H. Falk,R. E. MooreResults of new radial velocity observations are presented for the ”runaway” O star 68 Cyg — a candidate for a binary system. Low amplitude (. ≈ 10 km/s) velocity variations with a possible period of 0..508 have been established. An earlier suggestion by Alduseva et al. (1982) of the 5..1 day periodicity is incompatible with the present data.
