Rulebase Constructionance, provided it can be calculated for every variable. This also impacts the application of the rulebase, where the domains are also not a priori known. Unlike with a normal rescaling, the resulting fuzzy set is correctly defined on the domain of the result, which is beneficial for subsequent processing.

Constrained Defuzzification defuzzification of fuzzy sets, where a method was developed to defuzzify multiple fuzzy sets in parallel, under the condition that the result should sum up?to a given value. This constrained defuzzification allows for better results in the context of the spatial processing, but can also have wider applications.
