Conclusions,oximately account for the experimentally observed critical temperatures and the energy and momentum dependence of the pairing interaction in the cuprates. Therefore, magnetic excitations are a plausible explanation for Cooper pairing in these materials.

EU-Interessenvertretung und Informalit?t spin-fermion interaction. We use data from angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) to construct the required Green’s functions and spin susceptibilities. We find that spin fluctuations can yield superconducting critical temperatures of the order of 60–90 K, in agreement with experiments.
