Finally, Chapter 3 deals in systematic fashion with solid-supercritical fluid extraction (leaching) and the most influential factors on its efficiency, throughput and selectivity.

Supercritical fluid extraction is a recent, still fairly unexplored technique that must be consolidated with the rigour exercised in developing other analytical methodologies.
