Safety Services in Smart Environments Using Depth Cameras,caregivers. This enables the caregivers to provide medical care in time. Both services are implemented by using the Microsoft Kinect, with the obstacles extracted from the depth image and the usage of skeleton tracking gives to provide the necessary information on the user position and pose.

Voices and Views of Informal Caregivers: Investigating Ambient Assisted Living Technologies,cognized the safety and mobility benefits and the increased peace of mind – privacy issues, the lack of human touch and an unfelt need for support formed major barriers towards adoption. Die Differenzierung von Angst und Depressionosition accuracy and an excellent spatial resolution. In our evaluation, we measure a mean positioning error of only 12.7?cm. The proposed system also combines the advantages of very low power consumption, easy installation, easy maintenance, and the preservation of privacy.
