Parallel Training GBRT Based on KMeans Histogram Approximation for Big Data Learning To Rank(LTR) benchmark datasets and the large-scale real-world datasets from Baidu search engine. The experimental results show that our proposed parallel training algorithm outperforms the state-of-the-art parallel GBRT algorithm with near 2 times speedup and better accuracy. Also, our algorithm achieves the near-linear scalability.

AQUAdex: A Highly Efficient Indexing and Retrieving Method for Astronomical Big Data of Time Series ch is proven by theoretical analysis and experimental results. AQUAdex is especially suitable for Big Data applications because of its excellent scalability. The query time only increases 59?% while the data size grows 14 times larger.

Identification of Natural Images and Computer Generated Graphics Using Multi-fractal Differences of accomplished by using LIBSVM classifier. Experimental results and analysis indicate that it can obtain an average identification accuracy of 99.69?%, and it is robust against resizing, JPEG compression, rotation and additive noise.

Feature Selection Method Based on Feature’s Classification Bias and Performancevectorization representation of feature’s classification ability is beneficial for those partially predominant features winning out. Also multi-features’ classification redundancies are easily measured in the new space. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the new method on both low-dimensional and high-dimensional data.
