,The Structure of Semisimple Algebras: The Artin–Wedderburn Theorem, matrix algebras are semisimple algebras. When the coefficient field is algebraically closed the Artin-Wedderburn theorem shows that every semisimple algebra is isomorphic to such an algebra.
