Dimension theory of commutative polynomial rings,In this talk I shall present a survey of some known results concerning the Krull dimension of polynomial rings in finitely many indeterminates over a commutative ring with identity.

Church-Rosser theorems for replacement systems,ms have long been of interest in theories of combinatory logic and lambda conversion. This paper reviews known methods for proving the Church-Rosser property for general replacement systems and adds some new results. Finally some open problems are listed.
