Influence of Ammonia Emissions on Aerosol Formation in Northern and Central Europeved concentrations. The model was used then to assess the influence of emission changes. It was found that a reduction of ammonia emissions by 50?% lead to a 24?% reduction of total PM. concentrations in the model domain during winter, mainly driven by reduced formation of ammonium nitrate.

Analysis of National Verses Long-Range Transport Contribution to Organic and Inorganic Aerosol Load t all 3 sites. During non-heating season air mass back trajectories were grouped into 5 clusters representing mostly westerly flows (50–72?%). During heating season the trajectories were grouped into 6 clusters coming mostly from eastern directions (54–64?%).
