However, more detailed planning in every single team could cause less ability to switch work between teams and a sense of suffocation due to detailed routines and practices.

Based on these challenges we discuss preliminary recommendations for companies seeking to integrate data science roles in agile teams.

Agile Autonomous Teams in Complex Organizationsn terms of coordination challenges and mechanisms. To do this, we use modern sociotechnical theory to discuss how a production structure with many dependencies cause challenges and how a misaligned control structure is time-consuming and reduces team autonomy.
