Moreover, we provide a deep discussion on the relationship between interlayer structure and electrochemical performance from the view of energy storage mechanisms. Finally, the challenges and prospects for the future research of interlayer structural engineering of MXenes are outlined.

Manasa Kulkarni,Bhargavi Goswami,Joy Paulose are easily deactivated by such compounds..Ru-based material evaluated as a cathode in a single direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) showed a stable performance even after 36?days, while Pt catalyst performance was slowly decayed. This is very important since it is clear evidence of a real application of the new materials in this type of fuel cell.
