Arteries of the Abdominal Organsites produced by cyanobacteria are potentially toxic, which have harmful effects on both the local ecology and the health of animals and humans. Thus, the monitoring and modeling of cyanobacterial growth are important and necessary.

Jinxing Lin,Qiusheng Chen,Jianhua Hue applications are made among different types of monitoring techniques and prediction models, showing that these advanced techniques are effective new ways that can be used for monitoring algal blooms in drinking water storage reservoirs.
