Nilotpal Borah,Abhijit Gogoi,Jiban Saikianature of what Levinas calls the ethical. This situates and relativizes the traditional model of the student as autonomous self-learner. Te Levinasian notion involves interpreting human subjectivity radically as intersubjective, in terms of inspiration, which comes through the teacher.
