Acupuncture has a great deal to offer in respiratory disorders. As yet there is not the body of research data available in the West to validate the effects of acupuncture on respiratory disorders. This is slowly being rectified (Jobst ., 1986 and Fung ., 1986). Personal experience in this area has proved very rewarding.
