Water Resources Inventory and Implications of Irrigation ModernizationThis chapter presents the effects on water resources created by the introduction of an irrigation modernization policy. The impact caused by the increase of irrigation coverage tends to have negative effects on water stocks because of its technological characteristics and productive practices in the primary sector.
