Moraine Dammed Lakes Inventory in Satluj, Ravi, Chenab and Beas Basins of Himachal Pradesh, India,s on the GIS platform helped in preparing the moraine dammed glacial lake inventory and assessing the potentiality of becoming the GLOF in these basins. This is of prime importance for preparedness against disasters due to GLOFs. This requires a continuous observation for the pre-disaster preparedness.

Geospatial Approach for Water Quality Index Mapping for Drinking Purpose in Guna District, Madhya Pgher weightage was assigned according to its water quality and vice versa. The overall assessment of the WQI shows that very good category covers 21.69% of the total area exhibited good category covers 5.57%, moderate category covers 7.3% poor category covers 12.53% and very poor WQI category covers 52.91%.
