Jinchang Ren,Amir Hussain,Xinbo Zhaode a measurement of the cosmic equation of state parameter .. A first test run search was done last spring at the CFHT, using the current imager: the ‘CFH 12k’. Detection procedure and preliminary results are presented in this article.

Pei-Zhen Li,Juan-Hui Li,Chang-Dong WangSZ surveying, and near the turn of the decade the Planck mission will provide an almost all-sky catalog of more than 10,000 clusters distributed out to redshifts beyond unity. I finish with a discussion of several aspects of surveying and of the science targeted by these projects.

Lecture Notes in Computer Sciencem fields. Below this scale, however, we can observe non-gaussianity which we believe originates from non-linear gravitational evolution. The unprecedented number of resolution elements in 2dF allows us to measure non- gaussianity with great accuracy.
