Analytical Buckling Analysis of Cylindrical Shells with Elliptic Cross Section Subjected to Externais based on perturbation procedure. The mentioned buckling problem can be solved using FEM. However, FEM solutions may be less manageable, for instance, in terms of optimal design, than the associated approximate analytical models.
