Unified Point Selection and Surface-Based Registration Using a Particle Filterd through a point selection algorithm derived from a stiffness model of surface-based registration, allowing the selection algorithm to incorporate knowledge of the uncertainties in the registration parameters. We show that the behavior of target registration error improves as the quality measure of the registration points increases.

MRA Image Segmentation with Capillary Active Contour implemented based on level sets, is able to segment thin vessels and has been applied for verification on synthetic volumetric images and real 3D MRA images. Compared with other state-of-the-art MRA segmentation algorithms, our experiments show that the introduced capillary force can facilitate more accurate segmentation of blood vessels.

White Matter Tract Clustering and Correspondence in Populationsing in this space we are able to find matching fiber tract clusters in all brains. In addition, we automatically obtain correspondence of tractographic paths across brains: by selecting one or several paths of interest in one brain, the most similar paths in all brains are obtained as the nearest points in the high-dimensional space.

A Segmentation and Reconstruction Technique for 3D Vascular Structuresents show that the proposed technique reaches a good balance in terms of smoothness, number of triangles, and distance error.
