Spin glass models with short-range interactions: A short review of numerical studies,netic and next nearest-neighbor antiferromagnetic exchange is studied. Finite size scaling and phenomenological renormalization,The basic equations of the phenomenological renormalization method are recalled. A simple derivation using finite-size scaling is presented. The convergence of the method is studied analytically for the Ising model. Using this method we give predictions for the 2d bond percolation.
