A Cluster Sampling Method for Image Matting via Sparse Codingng-based methods fail to select the best pairs. In this paper, we derive a new objective function for directly obtaining the estimation of the alpha matte from a bunch of samples. Comparison on a standard benchmark dataset demonstrates that the proposed approach generates more robust and accurate alpha matte than state-of-the-art methods.

Image Co-localization by Mimicking a Good Detector’s Confidence Score Distribution proposals, and low scores to most of them. Thus, we devise an entropy-based objective function to enforce the above property when learning the common object detector. Once the detector is learnt, we resort to a segmentation approach to refine the localization. We show that despite its simplicity, our approach outperforms state-of-the-arts.

Photometric Stereo Under Non-uniform Light Intensities and Exposuresctors.
