Tsunato Nakai,Daisuke Suzuki,Takeshi Fujinots, S–N approach is used for calculation of number of cycles of compound die. The number of cycles gives the number of sheet metal parts that can be produced on compound die before its failure. The proposed ANN model is tested successfully on different compound dies designed for manufacturing various industrial sheet metal parts.
